Wildlife
Since the communal conservation began in Namibia, the elephant population has quadrupled, lions have expanded their range and numbers, and species such as zebra and springbok have increased more than twenty-fold. Valuable species have been translocated out of national parks and into conservancy areas, including black rhino.
